7-13-08 We were sitting in church next to a family, when one of their twin little boys leaned over to me and whispered in my ear "look at my mom's chin, it has hair all over it!".. hilarious!
7-30-08 Shay was helping me get the laundry out of my bin into a laundry basket. After it was done, she said "man i am a strong woman!"
7-29-08 I put a hair band in my hair to hold my bangs back, and when Britt saw me she said "huh, so your doing your hair like that now?"
7-31-08 Shay and I were driving down the road and her favorite song came on. I started singing along and she looked over at me with this look and said "Mom, this is just terrible that your singing this song" I looked at her puzzled and asked why "because it is my favorite song, not yours!
7-30-08 We went to the pool for family night. I had a terrible headache, so I just layed down in the lounge chair and put a towel over my head. After awhile, I heard shay say "Mom" 'yeah', I said from under the towel "Can she sleep over?" She replied. Puzzled, I said 'who?' with the towel still over my face "her" she said like I was supposed to know who she was talking about. I slowly removed the towel from off my face and when I looked up I saw these two sopping wet girls standing in front of me, one of whom I had never seen in my life, just staring waiting for my answer. I said 'No, not tonight' trying my hardest to not burst out laughing! They both looked at me with dissapointed faces, and slowly turned around while saying simutaneously "OOOOHHHHH" and walked back toward the pool!
6-19-08 Shay and I went grocery shopping as we do every Tuesday. Because it takes most of the day to get it all done, I usually pack a lunch for her to take. As we were walking through the store, her in the seat of the shopping cart, she busted open her lunch. After awhile of munching on various things, she said "mom, this lunch is just amazing today!"
